§ 15-2. Contents of application for zoning permits.

  • The application for zoning permit shall be signed by the owner or applicant attesting to the truth and exactness of all information supplied on the application. At a minimum, the application shall contain the following information:

    (1)

    Name, address, and phone number of applicant;

    (2)

    Description of property;

    (3)

    Existing use;

    (4)

    Proposed use;

    (5)

    Zoning district;

    (6)

    Plans in triplicate consistent with the following:

    a.

    For principal buildings, plans bearing the seal of a licensed architect, engineer, or surveyor, and drawn to scale, showing the dimensions and shape of the lot to be built upon; the size and location of existing buildings on the lot, if any; and the location and dimensions of the proposed building(s) or alteration. As an option to this requirement, conditional approval may be given to plans consistent with (b), below, pending the submittal of plans bearing the seal of a licensed architect, engineer, or surveyor, upon completion of the floor system, and showing the location of the building footprint, as built, in addition to the above requirements;

    b.

    For accessory buildings, plans drawn to scale, showing the dimensions and shape of the lot to be built upon; the size and location of existing buildings on the lot, if any; and the location and dimensions of the proposed building(s) or alteration;

    (7)

    Building heights;

    (8)

    Number of off-street parking spaces or loading berths;

    (9)

    Number of dwelling units;

    (10)

    Such other matters as may be necessary to determine conformance with, and provide for the enforcement of this ordinance.
