§ 17-2. Court costs for funding of courthouse and courtroom security.

There is hereby assessed the sum of twenty dollars ($20.00) in each and every criminal or traffic case in district court and circuit court in which the defendant is convicted of a violation of any statute or ordinance. The clerk of the juvenile and domestic relations district court, the clerk of the general district court and the clerk of the circuit court will collect said assessment and remit same to the Gloucester County Treasurer where it shall be held subject to appropriation by the Gloucester County Board of Supervisors for the funding of courthouse security.
