§ 1-9. Applicability of State Line of Duty Act.

All law enforcement officers of this state or any of its political subdivisions, the Gloucester County Sheriff's Office, Abingdon Volunteer Fire and Rescue Incorporated, and Gloucester Volunteer Fire and Rescue Squad, Inc. are hereby recognized as integral parts of the official safety program of Gloucester County, pursuant to the Line of Duty Act of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
